The ancient art of “hands - on”
healing.
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a
Japanese word meaning Universal Life Energy, the energy all around us.
This natural healing art accelerates the body’s ability to heal physical
ailments and opens the mind to the root causes of “dis-ease”. It supports the process of taking
responsibility for one’s life. Reiki provides a means of balancing
physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual energy in one’s own health and
that of family and friends. It can be effectively incorporated into the
healing arts practiced by a variety of health care professionals.
Anyone can learn to use this tool
for personal well-being and spiritual growth. In this 1st Degree Reiki
Class, you will become attuned to energy, our life force energy; learning
hand positions for treatment and practice of Reiki on yourself and
others.
Reiki provides comfort
in serious illness while promoting a natural healing process in many
other areas. Problems like sports injuries, cuts, burns, internal
diseases, emotional disorders and stress and related illnesses are
helped. This treatment can be performed on pets and plants as
well. Other benefits may include release of tension, enhancement of
creativity, vitality and productivity, release of negative habits, and
promoting positive wellness, love, compassion, peace, and serenity.
