Yoga Teacher Certification Program 200 and 500 Hrs

Yoga Teacher Training I (200 Hour Level)

Develop a personal yoga, meditation, and spiritual practice, as well as learn tools to create a mindful and compassionate yoga practice for self and in teaching others. You will learn Yoga Postures, (Asanas), Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Psychology, Yoga Anatomy, Therapeutic Yoga, Chanting, Chakras, Mudras, Bandhas and Ancient Healing Techniques; Yoga Nidra; Prana Vidya; including Reiki Attunement; energy and grounding processes, Ayurveda, and Siddhi Yoga. This training program develops your ability to communicate the underlying science, philosophy, and spirituality of yoga, through self observation and immersion in the process itself. Bring mat, blanket, pillow, journal, and brown bag lunch. No previous yoga experience necessary. Certificate awarded upon completion, with RYT 200 Hour status application. Training registered through Yoga Alliance.

Look for new Yoga Therapy Certification & Therapeutic Yoga Certification in our Yoga Teacher Training II (500 Hour Level) registered thru the Yoga Alliance.

Judi Bar, E-RYT 500, Certified Yoga Instructor, T.R.Y. 4 Life Yoga Teacher Certification Institute, teaches Yoga Anatomy, Reiki Practitioner, Yoga Therapy Practitioner specializing in chronic pain and illness with emphasis on musculoskeletal challenges & ATP. Former ballet dancer, owner and choreographer of a professional dance studio, Energy Healer, Intuitive, and Creator of Heart Light Yoga. Judi is presently working with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation initiating yoga classes for staff and patients; recruiting our TRY 4 Life Yoga Teachers.

(Professional Level Certification ~ With Yoga Therapy Practitioner & Therapeutic Yoga Certification)

As part of a participation in the Yoga Alliance (a nationwide registry process), Jan & Judi have developed a curriculum that builds on TRY4Life (c) 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification Program. This 500 Hour level series will have a focus on therapeutic Yoga and Yoga Therapy & upon completion, you will receive a Yoga Therapy Practitioner Certificate.
In addition, this class offers the next step in providing yoga teacher education designed to meet today’s growing need for well-trained yoga professionals; meeting the needs of varied audiences & ages..
This advanced curriculum will strengthen and broaden your skills, as well as, foster new levels of expertise and depth. Explore and experience the deeper processes of advanced Asana practices, Pranayama, Prana Vidya, Yoga Nidra, Yoga Therapy, Therapeutic Yoga, Meditation, Mantra, Chanting, Chakras, Bandhas, Patanjali’s Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, & Vedic Texts in a concentrated core curriculum; Yoga Techniques, Teaching Methodology, Anatomy & Physiology, Philosophy, Ethics, Siddhi Yoga, Intuition, Healing, and practicing & experiencing Therapeutic & Yoga Therapy. You will also be attuned to Reiki II; learn the Reiki II Symbols & their uses; in particular with Mudras.
If you have studied 200 hours or more in another tradition & your training meets recommended minimum standards of the Yoga Alliance, you may be eligible for credit toward Jan & Judi's Professional-Level Certification. Your 200 hours plus these contact hours may be used toward the 500 hour Yoga Alliance Registry. A certificate of contact hours completed will be awarded upon completion, along with a Yoga Therapy Practitioner Certificate upon completion of the 500 hours.
